Harrison County School District rolls out new custom app to keep parents, community informed

A new app just went live this week that will keep parents in close touch with their child's school or any school in the district. The Harrison County School District Custom App is now available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

You can install the app on your mobile device by clicking on the following links, or by going to your app store and searching for “Harrison County School District.”

Apple iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/WebObj…/MZStore.woa/…/viewSoftware…

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details…

Once the app is installed, just go to "Settings" and choose any school or schools you like. You will get updates from every school that you picked, as well as news from the district level. We also included icons for quick and easy access to calendars, lunch menus, notifications, contact information, INOW, and school board meetings.

“The Harrison County School District is very excited as we unveil this app. We hope all the parents will take advantage of this tool to stay informed about their children’s education,” said Harrison County Schools Superintendent Roy Gill. “As mobile technology continues to grow, we believe this new app will open the doors of communication with the public.”
