HCSD High Schools Honor Seniors with Parades
HARRISON COUNTY (MS):  The Class of 2020 missed so many senior traditions due to COVID-19. The teachers and staff at all three high schools in the Harrison County School District wanted to create special memories for the students. They came up with the idea of hosting a Senior Parade, and the event turned out to be a big hit with the students, families, and educators.

April 30, 2020: What an emotional day for our teachers, staff, and seniors at D’Iberville High.
DHS seniors pulled up in their cars to pick up their Class of 2020 yard signs and t-shirts. Teachers and administrators cheered, waved, and wished them well as they drove by. It was so wonderful seeing all the seniors!

As the seniors’ names were announced, each student received a special yard sign and a bag of goodies. As the students left the campus, they deposited their Time Capsule memorabilia by the front gate. The Time Capsule will be buried on the HCHS campus at a later date.
