PREK4 ANNOUNCEMENT

Harrison County School District is proud to announce two PRE-K4 classes; this is the beginning of a great partnership with South MS PreK4Ward Initiative to help our children of the Harrison County School District. Early intervention is one of the single most important factors of a child’s educational progression. We are grateful that we have partners like Head Start, however, we would like to expand on the services provided for our PreK4 children. This partnership is allowing Harrison County to begin its expansion of services for our PreK students.

Early Childhood Education

PreK4Ward is now taking applications for 40 seats in 2 new classes that will be opening later this month in the Orange Grove/Three Rivers area of the Harrison County School District. PreK4Ward offers a free, high quality program to children that turned 4 years old by September 1 of this year. The hours of the classes are 8:30 to 2 pm on the days that the school district holds classes.

Parents, you may find an application at PREKRWARD or by going to our webpage at www.prek4ward.org.

Students living in the Harrison County School District that are qualified for Head Start but not currently enrolled are encouraged to apply, as well as all others interested.
