It was a night to celebrate school achievements in the Harrison County School District! On Monday, the Harrison County School Board honored 17 schools in HCSD for earning an A or B on the latest Performance Level Grades from the Mississippi Department of Education. Each school received a banner to proudly display on their campus.

HCSD Launches "Count Me In" Attendance Campaign
The Harrison County School District is proud to launch the "Count Me In" campaign to help boost student attendance and academic achievement. This new campaign supports MDE's efforts to reduce chronic absenteeism in schools across the state. HCSD is challenging every school in the district to increase their attendance rates by at least two-percent this year. The top three schools will be honored during a district wide celebration in April of 2019.

The work began soon after HCSD voters overwhelmingly approved a $55 million bond issue to expand and upgrade campuses throughout the district.
