Surprising October District Novice Teacher of the Month

 
(November 13, 2025) – Join us in congratulating Mr. Gemar Johnson on being selected as our October District Novice Teacher of the Month winner!

Mr. Johnson is a special education teacher at Saucier Elementary. Today, Mrs. Marcy Sherfield from the Huntington Learning Center surprised Mr. Johnson with a certificate of recognition, $50 gift card, teacher supplies, and balloons! Here’s what Saucier Elementary Principal Alyson Grissom had to say about our honoree:

“Mr. Johnson has been such a blessing to Saucier Elementary School! He is known for going above and beyond and creating a classroom where his students feel valued and supported. He is always willing to lend a helping hand with a smile on his face and a positive attitude.
