D'Iberville High Names New Girls Softball Coach

(HARRISON COUNTY, MS) June 30, 2002 - A proud graduate of the Harrison County School District will now take over as the new girls head softball coach at D’Iberville High School. The Harrison County School Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Kaitlin Lee on June 6. Lee comes to D’Iberville High with three years of college coaching experience.

Lee’s coaching career began at Samford University in Alabama, where she was the first assistant and pitching coach from 2019-2021. Most recently, Lee served as the assistant and pitching coach at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College from 2021-2022.

Lee graduated from Harrison Central High in May of 2014. She was part of the Red Rebelettes 2014 6A High School State Championship team. Lee has received numerous awards and other athletic accolades over the years, including NJCAA All-American Honors, MACJC Pitcher of the Year, JUCO State Championship, and SEC Tournament Championship. She was also named 2017 SEC Tournament MVP, Second-Team SEC All American, and was inducted into the MGCCC Athletic Hall of Fame.

Lee replaces Coach Kayleigh Wilson.
