Free Summer Meals in HCSD Now Being Served

HARRISON COUNTY, MS (June 1, 2021) – Today is the first day of the 2021 Free Summer Meals program in the Harrison County School District and our cafeteria teams have been busy preparing, packaging, and distributing meals to families in the community! Free Grab-N-Go breakfast and lunch will be served weekdays from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. to all children ages 18 and under.

Here are the nine participating locations:

-Bel-Aire Elementary

-D’Iberville Elementary

-Harrison Central Elementary

-North Gulfport Middle School

-Pineville Elementary

-Three Rivers Elementary

-West Wortham Elementary & Middle School

-Woolmarket Elementary

-West Harrison High

The school sites, hours of operation, and June menu are also posted on the HCSD website. Our cafeteria workers are ready to provide hot and healthy meals through the end of July and they hope to serve about 100,000 meals this summer. They will take a holiday break from July 2-5.
