HCSD Graduation Ceremonies Scheduled for May

HCSD Graduation Ceremonies Scheduled for May 21 & 22

HARRISON COUNTY, MS (March 7, 2021) – Graduation ceremonies for the HCSD Class of 2021 will be held at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. Here is the schedule for each school:

• HARRISON CENTRAL HIGH: Friday, May 21, 2121, at 7 PM

• WEST HARRISON HIGH: Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 10 AM

• D'IBERVILLE HIGH: Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 7 PM

The Coliseum will implement these safety protocols per Governor Tate Reeves' latest executive order:

• Six (6) tickets will be given to each graduate for their guests.

• Graduates will be socially distanced. For schools with over 317 graduates, chairs may be closer than six feet to make sure we get all graduates on the floor. No chairs will be connected or placed next to each other.

• We will recommend everyone wear a mask or face covering.

• We will recommend social distancing and continue to set-up in family pods in the terrace level of the arena.

• Hand sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the facility.

• Sanitizing will take place at the end of each ceremony.

• Parents are not allowed on the floor at the conclusion of the graduation ceremony. No gathering will be allowed inside the arena.

• Graduate rehearsal will be in Hall C. The seats will be set-up identical to those in the arena.

• Graduates will be asked to exit at the conclusion of the graduation ceremony and meet their family and friends in the parking lot.

• Concessions will be open.

HCSD is planning to provide live streaming of all three graduation ceremonies. We will announce the details at a later date. If you have any questions, please contact your senior's school.

We are so proud of our graduating seniors and can't wait to celebrate their accomplishments!
