Harrison County School District, as required by law, provides Workers Compensation Insurance throughout the district. This insurance is to meant to help alleviate loss of wages and medical treatment cost for those injured during the course and scope of their work related duties.

All work related accidents and injuries are to be reported to the employee's supervisor immediately upon occurrence of the accident so that all necessary paperwork may be completed and referred to the district's workers compensation carrier. Delayed reporting and fraudulent reporting may result in disciplinary action or termination.
