D'Iberville Middle School Receives $2,500 Donation from Mitsubishi Dealership

Posted Date: 4/12/24 (4:17 PM)

(April 11, 2024) - The Harrison County School District is thrilled to receive another generous donation for one of our schools, this time from Gulf Coast Mitsubishi in D’Iberville! During its ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday morning, the newly opened car dealership presented a $2,500 check to D’Iberville Middle School.

The funds will help support the school’s robotics program, the D’Ville Dominators, as the team prepares to travel to California next month for an international robotics competition. The D’Ville Dominators will be the only robotics team from Mississippi to compete in the event.

The team members, teachers, and DMS Principal Matthew Elias were honored to be invited to join in Friday’s ceremony. We cannot thank Gulf Coast Mitsubishi enough for its generosity in sponsoring the robotics program at DMS. Our students are very excited!

You may remember, last month, D'Iberville Elementary received a $5,000 donation from the new Burlington store in D'Iberville. This week, Creekbend Elementary & Middle School announced it has received a significant donation for a new playground.
