The School Board Meeting scheduled for

is re-scheduled to

 

Wednesday, November 4, 2020

at 5:30 P.M.


IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: We hope all of our students, teachers, staff, and families are safe and incurred minimal impacts from Hurricane Zeta. Our heartfelt thoughts and well wishes are with those who have been affected by the storm.

Due to the storm recovery process, all schools in the Harrison County School District will be closed tomorrow (Friday, October 30, 2020). Classwork packets that were sent home with students can be submitted upon their return to school.

Depending on the power restoration situation, we hope to reopen schools on Monday. Please stay tuned to HCSD Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and local news media for updates.

AVISO IMPORTANTE: Esperamos que todos nuestros estudiantes, maestros, empleados y familias estén a salvo y hayan sufrido impactos mínimos por el huracán Zeta. Nuestros más sinceros pensamientos y buenos deseos están con aquellos que se han visto afectados por la tormenta.

Debido al proceso de recuperación por la tormenta, todas las escuelas del Harrison County School District estarán cerradas mañana (viernes). Los paquetes de trabajo de clase que se enviaron a casa con los estudiantes deberán entregarse a su regreso a la escuela.

Dependiendo de la situación de restauración de energía, esperamos reabrir las escuelas el lunes. Estén atentos a las actualizaciones de Facebook, Twitter, Instagram y los medios de comunicación locales de HCSD.

Harrison County School District is excited to announce that starting September 9, 2020, every HCSD school will be offering universal free meals to all children ages 18 and under, whether they are learning at school or virtually. HCSD is one of the first school districts in Mississippi to offer this USDA program so no child in the community goes hungry during this pandemic.
