Back-to-School Bus Reminders

We are excited to welcome our students back on Tuesday! As with every first day of school, there may be minor delays with bus routes. Here are some important reminders from our transportation team:

• Only approximate pick-up times are given at the beginning of school. After a few days, arrival times will become more consistent.
• Expect delays in the mornings and afternoons. It will take a few weeks before bus routes reach optimal consistency.
• Your child’s school is the first point of contact. Phone lines at the HCSD Transportation Office will be extremely busy, and you may experience difficulty when attempting to call. Please feel free to reach out to us via our email at transportation@harrison.k12.ms.us.

Please note that the response times may be delayed because of the high volume of inquiries on the first day.

• Bus pick-up locations may be the same as last year, but common neighborhood stops may be established within the first few days of school.
