West Wortham Principal Named August Administrator of the Month

(August 12, 2025) – Congratulations to Mrs. Jill Ryals, principal of West Wortham Elementary & Middle School, on being named our “HCSD August Administrator of the Month”!
 
Mrs. Ryals is starting her 5th year as a school administrator in the Harrison County School District, and this is her 2nd year as principal at West Wortham. Mrs. Ryals is determined and passionate about teaching and learning, and she loves her West Wortham Wolfpack faculty, staff, and students! Mrs. Ryals is also a loyal and proud University of Southern Mississippi fan.
 
Many thanks to Mr. Michael Cobb of Guild Mortgage Gulfport for sponsoring this special surprise presentation. Mrs. Ryals received a certificate and a restaurant gift card. Mr. Cobb also treated our principals and bookkeepers to a delicious breakfast casserole! It was a great way to kick off our first Principal’s Academy of the 2025-26 school year!
