Surprising August District Novice Teacher of the Month Winner

(September 12, 2025) – Congratulations to Ms. Sharolyn Shields of North Gulfport Elementary & Middle School! She won the Harrison County School District’s August Novice Teacher of the Month drawing!
 
We walked into Ms. Sharolyn Shields’ kindergarten classroom today to surprise her with the exciting news! Ms. Shields received a certificate, $50.00 gift card, teacher supplies, and balloons from the Huntington Learning Center in Gulfport. Many thanks to Mrs. Marcy Sherfield of Huntington for making the special presentation!
