Surprising Sept. HCSD Staff of the Month Winner

(October 24, 2025) – What a wonderful Wednesday, especially for Ms. April Shoemaker at North Woolmarket Elementary Middle School! This morning, our education partner, Guild Mortgage Gulfport, helped us surprise Ms. Shoemaker for being chosen as our “September HCSD Staff of the Month” winner!

Ms. Shoemaker is a first-year Special Education Teacher Assistant at North Woolmarket, serving students in grades 4th-8th. She has served as the school’s former PTSA President, volunteered with the Buddy Walk and the Tim Tebow Foundation, and is active in the softball program.

Ms. Shoemaker received a certificate, $50 restaurant gift card, and $50 shopping gift card. Plus, Guild Mortgage presented her class with a box of delicious pumpkin-themed cookies! Thank you, Mr. Michael Cobb and Ms. Kelly Boyd, for the sweet gesture.Congratulations, Ms. Shoemaker!
