Warrior Stadium Renovation Project Enters Major Phase

(November 21, 2025) – The comprehensive renovation of D’Iberville High School’s Warrior Stadium is moving into a major new phase. Phase II officially began this week, with demolition work now underway on key areas of the facility.

Today, reporters from WLOX and WXXV visited the stadium to share progress updates and speak with HCSD Athletic Director Kevin Roberts and D’Iberville Warriors Head Football Coach Josh Ladner. The multi-phase project is expected to be completed in time for the opening kickoff of the 2026 football season.
 
Project Phases:

  • Phase 1: Track Replacement
A complete overhaul of the track to ensure safety, durability, and compliance with competitive standards.
  • Phase 2: Stadium Lighting Upgrade
Installation of modern, high-capacity lighting for improved visibility, expanded event scheduling, and enhanced safety.
  • Phase 3: Visitor-Side Enhancements
    • New visitors’ locker room
    • Updated concessions and restroom facilities
    • Addition of a visitor-side press box to meet growing media needs
  • Phase 4: Home-Side Redevelopment
    • New and expanded home seating
    • Multiple new locker rooms for:
      • Boys’ and Girls’ Track
      • Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer
      • Varsity Football
    • Construction of a state-of-the-art field house featuring:
      • Varsity football locker room
      • Training room
      • Weight room
      • Multi-use classroom
      • Laundry facilities
    • New concessions and restroom facilities
    • Upgraded ticket booths and main entrance
    • Expanded parking areas for easier access and increased event capacity
