Surprising Dec. HCSD Staff of the Month

(December 13, 2026) – The D'Iberville Middle School gym provided the perfect place to surprise PE teacher Becky Hasse! This morning, we dropped by DMS to celebrate Coach Hasse as our December District Staff of the Month winner! Our education partner, Guild Mortgage Gulfport, presented our honoree with a certificate, a $100 restaurant gift card, and a box of Mardi Gras-themed cookies.
 
Coach Hasse has devoted her life to serving youth and her community through education, athletics, and public safety. She has been part of the Harrison County School District for nearly nine years, where she has worn many hats. Her roles have included PE coach, softball coach, boys and girls soccer coach, behavior support, and bus aide. Each position reflected her commitment to supporting students both on and off the field.
 
Beyond the school system, Coach Hasse has proudly served the City of D’Iberville since 2012 and has been a member of the D’Iberville Police Department since 2014. Coach Hasse is a devoted wife and the proud mother of two daughters. Her career reflects a deep passion for service, leadership, and making a lasting, positive impact on the lives of those around her.
