(Feb. 20, 2026) - We dropped by D'iberville Elementary School to celebrate first-grade teacher, Mrs. Jodi Smith, as our January District Teacher of the Month!

Mrs. Marcy Sherfield from the Huntington Learning Center presented our honoree with a $50 gift card, a certificate of recognition, teacher supplies, and balloons!

Here’s why Mrs. Smith was nominated for this honor: Mrs. Smith is a loving and dedicated teacher who builds relationships with her students and their families and is willing to do whatever is necessary to ensure their success. Because of her dedication in the classroom and her passion for teaching, Mrs. Smith serves as a role model and mentor for new teachers and previously served as a math council member. D’Iberville Elementary is extremely fortunate to have her as a part of the Lil’ Warrior family.
