(March 24, 2026) – Today, we had the joy of surprising an amazing member of our HCSD Maintenance Team — Ms. Tasha Jones!

Ms. Jones has been part of the HCSD family for 18 years, including 12 years as a member of the Paint Crew. She started her career working in the cafeteria and as a bus aide.

HCSD Superintendent William Bentz presented Ms. Jones with the Connect.Empower.Thrive Certificate of Recognition to celebrate her incredible contributions and commitment to the district. She also received a $100 restaurant gift card and a swag bag from our education partner, QDOBA of Gulfport. The swag bag contains a T-shirt, an avocado stress ball, and a drink koozie.

Congratulations, Ms. Jones! Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and care you put into every brushstroke. Our schools and office buildings shine brighter because of you.
