(February 16, 2024) - Congratulations to the WHHS cheerleaders for bringing home another national championship trophy! The team competed in the Large Varsity Coed Game Day Division in the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championships in Orlando this past weekend. This is the team’s third national championship title in five years! 

The WHHS cheer team has won four Mississippi state MHSAA championships. They captured back-to-back national titles in 2021 and 2022. The team came in 2nd place in 2023, so reclaiming the top spot in 2024 is especially significant.
